The modern military landscape demands rapid decision-making as a crucial advantage for warfighters. The ability to quickly transform vast data sets into actionable intelligence is more critical than ever.
Currently, we’re working with two U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) organizations in the INDOPACOM theater who are leading the way, leveraging Ultra Intelligence and Communications’ ADSI RAIN™ product to highlight the synergy gained from pairing machine nominations with human tradecraft and intuition.
The first organization needed a method to help intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) analysts promptly make sense of difficult-to-detect activities. With that in mind, our team developed prototype machine learning models and analytics to identify those events within seconds of initial activity. Following these successful demonstrations, Ultra I&C received a request to develop additional analytics capabilities.
As an early adopter, this organization recognized the value of human-machine teaming and enabled placement of ADSI RAIN onto a classified network, opening opportunities for additional ISR organizations to leverage these capabilities in the near-term.
Meanwhile, another organization in INDOPACOM needed a mobile solution to integrate and visualize diverse data streams into a coherent and comprehensive air domain picture. Our engineers responded with a modular, portable system that seamlessly connected with existing command and control (C2) software. This example is also a key demonstration of how ADSI RAIN supports the five objectives of the U.S. Air Force’s Agile Combat Employment, which address the complex and dynamic operational settings in the region.

These deployments are just the beginning. Our vision is to expand the reach of ADSI RAIN to other key organizations, enhancing the capabilities of warfighters around the globe. Technology paired with Ultra I&C’s understanding of warfighter requirements, policymakers’ overarching objectives, and end-user interface preferences make ADSI RAIN an indispensable asset for every ISR leaders’ toolkit.
